Education

HIRO understands educations is the greatest equalizer and the passport to future. We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating a brighter future for our communities. Our programs are designed to meet the unique needs of underserved communities and to create lasting positive change.

We provide education in-person and virtually on a variety of areas including financial literacy, computer literacy,  language, and tutorial services for students at different level of education.

Programs:

  1. After-school tutoring and mentoring program: We will offer after-school tutoring and mentoring programs to support underserved students in their education. We will also provide access to college preparation resources and financial aid information.

  2. Language and cultural support programs: We will provide language and cultural support programs to help students overcome language and cultural barriers that may impede their success in school.

  3. Technology access programs: We will provide access to technology and digital resources to help bridge the digital divide and promote technological literacy in underserved communities.

  4. Parent and family engagement programs: We will develop programs to engage parents and families in their child's education and provide resources and support for family literacy.
